Patrick ****** *Patrick:* Quorum - yes *Patrick:* agenda approved by consent *Patrick:* minutes of 21 November 2022 approved by consent *Patrick:* #5: OFFICE-4132 *Patrick:* Michael agrees to close Office-4136 - covered by Office-4132 *Patrick:* https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/OFFICE-4132 *Regina Henschel:* "common-draw-shape-with-styles-attlist" *Patrick:* Regina says we need to go to common-draw-shape-with-styles-attlist *Regina Henschel:* "common-draw-shape-with-styles-attlist" *Regina Henschel:* "common-draw-shape-with-text-and-styles-attlist" *Svante:* http://docs.oasis-open.org/office/OpenDocument/v1.3/os/schemas/OpenDocument-v1.3-schema-rng.html#1755 *Patrick:* Regina - something in the element or something in the style *Regina Henschel:* Is it an attribute of the element or part of the style? *Michael Stahl:* i dont think it makes sense to set on a style - similar to z-index or anchor *Svante:* https://tdf.github.io/odftoolkit/odf1.3/OpenDocument-v1.3-reference.html#attribute_draw:z-index_1 *Svante:* Does all the images have an attribute in common? Like @svg:width:https://tdf.github.io/odftoolkit/odf1.3/OpenDocument-v1.3-reference.html#attribute_svg:width_1 *Svante:* https://tdf.github.io/odftoolkit/odf1.3/OpenDocument-v1.3-reference.html#element_svg:title_1 *Patrick:* Regina - purpose is same as svg title/desc - *Patrick:* Regina - replace svg title/desc with reference that includes the decoration attribute *Michael Stahl:* except drawage and draw:layer - those are not shapes *Michael Stahl:* and draw:area-rectangle *Patrick:* Michael will review elements to see which ones can be grouped for a new decoration attribute and which need separate attributes. *Patrick:* https://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/office-comment/202212/msg00000.html *Patrick:* Michael will prepare an updated proposal on the decorative issue *Patrick:* Andreas - should have said Date - but thinks it is a non-issue - could have been clearer *Regina Henschel:* office:value-type="float" und office:value="44985" *Regina Henschel:* office:value-type="date" und office:date-value="2022-03-29" *Regina Henschel:* Note in 4.3.1 General *Francis Cave:* Editorial note: In Part 4 OpenFormula, section 4.3.1, the paragraph following the Note duplicates the final sentence of the paragraph preceding the note. One of these should be deleted. *Patrick:* Andreas - automatic formatting is outside of the standard - doesn't address hueristics *Patrick:* 4.3.3 Date - Date is represented by an integer value. A serial date is the expression of a date as the number of days elapsed from a start date called the epoch. Evaluators shall support all dates from 1904-01-01 through 9999-12-31 (inclusive) in calculations, should support dates from 1899-12-30 through 9999-12-31 (inclusive) and may support a wider date range. *Patrick:* This returns the current day's serial number, using current locale. *Regina Henschel:* Applications may do automatic formatting depending on the type of a function. But such heuristic is not part of the standard. For the standard 'date' is only a subtype of 'number'. In case a consumer wants to know the formating desired by the author, it can use the office:value-type in the file markup. *Patrick:* adjourned - -- Patrick Durusau patrick@durusau.net Technical Advisory Board, OASIS (TAB) Editor, OpenDocument Format TC (OASIS), Project Editor ISO/IEC 26300 Co-Editor, ISO/IEC 13250-1, 13250-5 (Topic Maps) Another Word For It (blog): http://tm.durusau.net Homepage: http://www.durusau.net Twitter: patrickDurusau
