OpenC2 Happenings: Week of 07 JAN 2019

This week's happenings email has five items: 

ITEM ONE, FACE-TO-FACE MEETING ON JAN 10, 11 2019:  
We are less than a week away from the next face-to-face.  The focus of this face-to-face will be resolution of the Public Review comments.  We are looking forward to addressing these matters and preparing for the second public review. 
The primary editors of the specifications are working very hard to organize the agenda so that we can efficiently resolve the comments and we will provide additional information in a separate email.

ITEM TWO, RESCHEDULING OF JANUARY TC MEETING The January 2019 TC meeting will be moved to January 11 at 13:00 eastern to coincide with the Face-to-Face meeting.  This meeting will impact voter eligibility.  The APAC session will occur at its usual date and time.  

ITEM THREE, BALLOT FOR STANDING RULE 4
The gist of the rule is to define a length of a co-chair's term (offset) and have annual elections.  The ballot for SR-4 closes on January 7, 2019.  Please vote on the ballot for SR-4 to let your position be known.    https://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/openc2/ballot.php?id=3288 

ITEM FOUR, CONSIDER NOMINEES FOR CO-CHAIR POSTIONS: 
As of now, we have enough votes to adopt SR-4 and barring unforeseen circumstances, we will have an election in March of this year.  
At a later date, we will make a call for nominations, however at this time, please consider serving or approaching a colleague to serve as a chair for the TC or one of the subcommittees.   

ITEM FIVE, OTHER ANNOUNCEMENTS
Other than the Face-to-Face, no OpenC2 meetings are scheduled for next week.

Face-to-Face (F2F) Meeting
    January 10-11, 2019 in Phoenix, AZ; hosted by NAESB / Systrends
