Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] (OSLCCORE-76) ReSpec does not support multiple values for oslc:describes for a resource shape

    [ https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/OSLCCORE-76?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=63006#comment-63006 ]

Nick Crossley commented on OSLCCORE-76:
---------------------------------------

No, ReSpec does not handle a single shape with multiple oslc:describes values. Changes to both the template and the Javascript would be required to handle this.

The current work around is to have a separate shape resource for each class to be described, but each of those separate shape resources may be in the same Turtle source, and may use the same set of links to property definitions - hence there need be only one set of property definition resources in that source file.

I do not anticipate fixing this issue in the immediate future.

> If a ResourceShape has multiple values for oslc:describes (it constrains more than one class, often things that might be subtypes of some abstract supertype), ReSpec only lists the last entry in the list in the Name, URI and table heading fields.
> See the TRS specification, then ChangeEvent shape for an example. This shape constrains three vocabulary items: trs:Creation, trs:Modification and trs:Deletion. Only Deletion is listed in the generated HTML.
