Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] (OSLCCORE-132) Clarify difference of OSLC and SPARQL Graph Patterns

    [ https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/OSLCCORE-132?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=68512#comment-68512 ]

James Amsden commented on OSLCCORE-132:
---------------------------------------

The purpose of the SPARQL queries in the old V1 query specification was to formalize the meaning of the OSLC query clauses. If the clauses can't be formally described any other way, the I suppose SPARQL would be OK. But it doesn't seem that is needed anymore.
