I had thought the same things. There may
be valuable historical content there, and I'd prefer to have it moved rather
than linked so we not jumping between technologies.
So I think its worth 1/2 day to see
if we can migrate it, and if not, then only copy and paste what's needed
and move forward with the new Wiki.

Migrating to GitHub

Wiki-related questions:
1. Do we really need to migrate the Wiki?
2. Do we need to migrate it all? I would suggest doing a rather limited
migration, only the working pages and link to the archive of the minutes
for the rest back to OASIS wiki.
3. Do we really need a program for the migration? Here is the result of
copy-pasting raw markup from https://wiki.oasis-open.org/oslc-core/https://github.com/berezovskyi/oslc-core/wiki

to access the Wiki files from the local disk. Maybe we can modify moin3git
to use a REST API to get the source Wiki files. I haven't looked at that,
but it might be faster and more sustainable.

However, it requires an access to the moinmoin server installation. Can
we ask Chet if the webmaster can help us out with that?

I think he has this staged at https://github.com/berezovskyi/oslc-core,
This looks pretty good.

an XML file of the exported issues. I tried using https://github.com/parcelLab/jira-to-githubtomigratethe issues but its expecting JIRA backup format, not RSS, and doesn't handle
comments or state. I have rebuilt this to use the RSS file Chet sent me.
I have something working and just need to address a few quirks in the differences
between JIRA and GitHub Issues (can't escape ' with \' in JSON, need to
remove HTML tags, add the users to the repo, etc.). Then I need to address
comments which have to be added after the issue has been created.
