Subject: RE: [pkcs11-comment] List of changes
Hi, Thanks for your comment! Unfortunately we haven’t produced a diff for v2.40 against earlier versions. There have been a lot of structural changes in the documents, primarily in moving information from the Base spec into the Usage Guide; there were also large structural changes for v2.30, primarily in separation of the Base spec and mechanisms. There were a number of mechanisms added in the draft V2.30. For V2.40, there have been relatively few substantive changes compared to v2.30. These included: - Secure Key import using AES and using ECC - A number of small changes to various mechanisms All discussion of additions and changes for V2.40 is documented in the public email archives. You can find a pointer to them on the PKCS 11 TC public page (https://www.oasis-open.org/committees/tc_home.php?wg_abbrev=pkcs11) Regards,
From: pkcs11-comment@lists.oasis-open.org [mailto:pkcs11-comment@lists.oasis-open.org] On Behalf Of Jaroslav Imrich Hello, I've just discovered there is ongoing public review for PKCS#11 v2.40. I believe that latest stable version of PKCS#11 specification produced by RSA was 2.20 and there was also draft of 2.30 available for a few years. Is there a list of changes made in 2.40 available or should 2.40 be considered a fresh start? Does anyone know of easy way to diff 2.40 against older versions? Thank you -- |
