Ontologies and PLCS

Attached is a report on the use of ontologies and their consistent interpretation, which was part of a wider - though very early - study on using ontologies to automatically build data interfaces. The current document is agreed for circulation within PLCS, and as a way of helping the implementation of PLCS.

It is likely we will try to publish a paper based on this work, probably through a journal. Further work in this area is also planned. I will be at the Oslo meeting, if anyone wants to talk to me further about it.
