Subject: RE: [plcs-dex] Sourceforge is up!

Sorry folks, disregard my notes on wincvs checkout; I was using an old process.

Tom

Thanks Tom

In the past when sourceforge changed things several people had difficulty because they tried to use their old version of stepmod/dexlib without checking out a new one. So just to reinforce the point:

You CANNOT use a local version of dexlib or stepmod that you previously checked out. You DO NEED tocheck out a new version of dexlib and stepmod.
(Unless you change the CVSROOT of all the directories that you have checked out - but I would only recommend doing that if you know what you are doing)

I could not get the checkout to work using:
:ext:stepmod_ssh2:/cvsroot/dexlib

So I changed the CVSROOT to:
:ssh:myusername@dexlib.cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/dexlib

This worked. (obviously change myusername)

BTW - if you are using WinCvS and Putty, SourceForge provide a useful help file https://sourceforge.net/docs/F05/en/#top

Regards
Rob
