Bryant,

FMV will participate in addressing the comments to the committee specification.

I personally have about 100h allocated for this work during 2008 (and another 100h for 2009), and FMV will acquire external resources for another 200h of work (and another 100h 2009).

Due to a late vacation this year, I will not be able to participate before September 4th, and the external resources will probably not be available before the end of September


I believe one early task would be to categorize the comments. Based on the FMV comments, I know that some should be solved by the 'Reference Data Project' (under my lead), some should be addressed by the TC, and some fall under general infrastructure. There are probably more categories.

PLCS Team,

We need to start work on dispositioning all of the comments received
during the ballot period.  Please reply to me with contact information
for the people that will be available to help determine whether comments
should be accepted, rejected, or partially accepted.  

I would like to schedule a teleconference to get us started, and discuss
breaking out the comments into functional areas and have subject matter
experts for that area to review and make the final determination on
disposition.  I plan to coordinate all disposition actions on a "master"
spreadsheet that will be distributed once it is filled in.

So please get back with me and let me know who will be helping with
dispositions, and a good timeframe for an initial teleconference.  I
know some of you are on vacation, but I'd like to get the points of
contact by July 25th if possible.
