Subject: Re: [public-sector-cloud-discuss] ESaaS - Search as a Service
I forgot to include the main reason for sharing this.. FYI in the NIST Cloud Business Use Case for E-Discovery, they talk about the need for Cloud inter-operation at the content level (exchange details about stored records etc.), and highlighted a possible candidate for this to be OASIS CMIS: https://www.oasis-open.org/committees/tc_home.php?wg_abbrev=cmis So, could be another one to add to the PACR list.. Cheers, Neil. > Hey folks > > I thought I would alert you to this service model we just profiled, 'ESaaS > - Enterprise Search as a Service. > > This hosts enterprise search software so that it can be used as a SaaS for > adding Search functions to web sites and also as SaaS components in line > with Government standards programs. > > For example the recent Whitehouse ITaaS Procurement practices guide talks > about using Search as a means of achieving the required E-Discovery > functionality (searching email file folders etc.), and the NIST Business > Use Case for E-Discovery also identifies the same approach. > > Read more in this 3-page doc: http://EnterpriseCloudSearch.com > > -- > Neil McEvoy > Founder and President > Level 5 Consulting Group > http://L5consulting.net > > > --------------------------------------------------------------------- > To unsubscribe, e-mail: > public-sector-cloud-discuss-unsubscribe@lists.oasis-open.org > For additional commands, e-mail: > public-sector-cloud-discuss-help@lists.oasis-open.org > > -- Neil McEvoy Founder and President Level 5 Consulting Group http://L5consulting.net
