No you can self-nominate which is what happens most of the time.  But you
have to be an OASIS member obviously so suggest you get your registration
sorted asap.  

If there are no other candidates emerging in the next few days then perhaps
we can fix a call to talk through what needs to happen and when. 

Chet and I are talking to ODCA next week to finalise their involvement then
we should be ready to push ahead.

I'm not sure of the process, ie do they need proposed by someone else etc.,
but certainly if appropriate to do so I would like to put myself forward.
