[regrep-cc-review] Discussion of 2 Functional Points
Hi All,
I'd like to kick off a discussion of some of the registry-related functionality that is defined in the Core Components spec v1.75, to elicit ideas about how the functionality can be accomodated in our Registry architecture. In the Discovery/Submission Functional Points mapping document, we have the following 2 functional points:
(1) The following relates to a search for a business process within the Registry:
"If an existing business process is located that will be used, the new use should be identified to the registry"
(2) In the following, the user has already found a suitable business process, and has identified the relevant context categories of the business process:
"The registry will provide a list of pre-defined Business Information Entities that are available to the selected business process, and which meet the context criteria specified"
I'd like to get your feedback on the following:
For (1): How can the "new use" be identified to the Registry?
For (2): How can we associated business processes with BIE's in the Registry?
I welcome all ideas, big or small.
Thanks,
