Joe, That's why UID needs to be part of the semantics to ensure a single static reference. Of course internally we're also assigning UUID, but the UID is easier to verify, and also provides the ability to cross-walk associations by searching. Users may certainly have a need to change the name of (for example) an Object Class, which should propagate to the Dictionary Entry Name. Joe <
