Subject: RE: [regrep] Core Components Specification 1.8 Comments
I actually looked at the implementation guide (thanks, Matt). This document is a great idea - but the document I have in mind is not that. What I would have liked to see in the document is a collection of requirements for registry so that other ebXML components can work with registry "natively" without implementing additional layers. The ebXML architecture doc (v1.04 is the latest I have, is there a later version?)does address this issue through "interfaces" (section 8.4.3), though some more details would be ideal. Now I have to formally ask you to work within the Architecture Team to help write such a document ;-) Actually, what it sounds like you're referring to is an implementation guide. I would highly favour this type of document being created but would suggest the OASIS IIC TC is the appropriate group for that. Anyone else have comments? Duane -- Xml Global http://www.xmlglobal.com
