Subject: FW: ebXML liaison with Dublin Core?
RegRep, Dublin Core is looking at establishing liaison relationships with appropriate OASIS TCs. This would be a good fit with Registry, since both DC and Registry use metatdata tagging elements to identify and describe the objects that are registered. Here is the URL for the org: http://dublincore.org/ . What are your thoughts? We can also discuss this at our next telecon in two weeks. Kathryn -----Original Message----- From: Karl F. He suggests that there may be some applicability of Dublin Core to some aspects of ebXML. Would you be interested in presenting this idea to the rest of your individual TCs to see if the TC would like to establish a liaison? (As specificed in the OASIS Liaison Policy at http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/liaison_policy.php this would require, essentially, finding a person who could participate on both sides; that person would be responsible for promoting communication between the two groups, promoting interoperability between the work of the two groups and minimizing duplication.) -Karl ================================================================= Karl F.
