Subject: Re: [regrep] Interest in Ontology Process Control Subcommittee
Zachary, That is why we are doing the SCM work on noun definitions and business catalogues - so we can suggest how people can do this. Of course we cannot force them to do it that way - but we can give them what we think is a good way to start from. As you note - this builds that neutral base across groups - hopefully! Thanks, DW. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Zachary Alexander" <zack2003@ebtdesign.com> To: "'ebXML Regrep (ebXML Regrep)'" <regrep@lists.oasis-open.org> Sent: Thursday, March 11, 2004 6:40 PM Subject: RE: [regrep] Interest in Ontology Process Control Subcommittee > > <Farrukh> It by design leaves vertical (industry specific) content > definition to other standards such as UBL etc. </Farrukh> If logic > systems imply content definitions, should the ebXML Registry be modified > to promote compliance with a single logic system like Description > Logics?
