FYI, Hot Off The Press: "New Industry Working Group for Business Process
Management Created"[1]

The new group, called the BPM Standards Group, has two stated goals: to
accelerate adoption of good BPM practice and provide "thought
leadership" and establish standards. Founders include IBM, IDC, Meta
Group and Hyperion. As a first deliverable, the BPM Standards Group has
developed a common definition of BPM.
