Subject: Re: [regrep] Groups - Using Registry & OWL Research Objectives : ProjectsProf. Asuman Dogac modified
Duane, Pity you could not attend. You missed seeing ground breaking work that Asuman and her team have been doing. Not to detract from your demo - but what she has been working on is very relevant - and especially to the SCM work - but more importantly - to combining OWL with Registry and creating re-usable sets of components. Once we have all these parts integrated into the solutions out there for end users - then next generation registry technology will have arrived for ebXML. Cheers, DW. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Duane Nickull" <dnickull@adobe.com> To: <Farrukh.najmi@sun.com> Cc: <regrep@lists.oasis-open.org> Sent: Wednesday, March 31, 2004 10:14 AM Subject: Re: [regrep] Groups - Using Registry & OWL Research Objectives : ProjectsProf. Asuman Dogac modified > Belated Regrets. > > I was part of an ADobe team attending a Government of Canada session > yesterday in Ottawa and presenting a key piece of advanced technology to > use CC's, BIE's within an ebXML Registry and demonstrating an assembly > utility that could communicate with the registry to retrieve a core > component, apply a context declaration to further constrain it to a BIE, > then extract the BIE as a schema fragment and aggregate it onto a larger > schema.
