I think that this is a very difficult problem.  XML Schema has adopted very ugly 
conditions so as to make it easier.  XDuce has introduced an extremely smart 
(but not always fast) algorithm for this purpose.  I do not want to introduce 
such a difficult problem to RELAX NG.
