Eric,

You're thinking like a techie instead of a user!

A user only cares if his convert-to-xsd tool pops up a dialogue and
says - "this <foobar> may not convert fully to XSD, proceed Yes/No?".

Otherwise he is happy doing RELAX becuase it is easier, and 80%+
of the time - he'll never see the message anyway.

Let those XSD heads worry about the other issues, because the 
user is going to say "Huh!  That's why I'm using RELAX - it does 
more with less!!".
