Subject: Re: [sca-bindings] Issue application across bindings specs

In the event that Piotr is unable to make his changes by mid-day Monday, I will add new issues to JIRA as appropriate so that we can track that the changes have been applied with respect to individual specifications.  In this specific case, for example, I will amend the existing issue to cover only the jms & ws specs, and add a new issue for the unapplied items in the JCA specification.  (I'll also submit motions during the meeting to ensure that it is all properly formal and on the record.)

Should anyone else raise concerns about any of the issues that cover multiple specification - so long as you do so before Wednesday around 2PM PST, I will have time to update JIRA and prepare the motions....

In other words, if you're looking at verifying the issues - make sure you pay attention to the ones that cover multiple specifications first, and let me know ASAP if you feel that they have not been properly applied to all of the specs covered by the issue.  That way, we can approve all the CDs in whatever state they are in.

My request to the editors: if people do report issues, please do not jump in and make fixes if the meeting is only a few days away (say, after mid-day Monday...).  Otherwise, we'll have have to spend time in the upcoming meeting deciding *which* draft document we're voting on for CD.  I, for one, am not sure I'll have ample time to review changes after Monday, and thus may feel compelled to abstain from voting if I've not had a chance to review.

Thanks.
-Eric.

Folks,

This document summarises the issues that are currently claimed to have been applied by the working drafts:

The only two holes I could find were in the JCA binding spec: it doesn't claim to resolve issue BINDINGS-14 but does, and issue BINDINGS-13 is not completely applied as the schema at the end of the document still refers to the OSOA namespace.

Piotr, would you be able to revise the JCA binding spec to ensure that the current SCA namespace is referred to?  If that could be done then all the issues would be covered by the working drafts.

I would suggest that as part of the CD vote next week we also determine that this list is correct and that all the listed issues can be closed.

Regards, Simon
