I think that we need a normative statement added to section 2.1.1 before [SBPEL2001] which says that if sca-bpel:ignore is set to "true" then the partnerlink does not give rise to a <service/> or a <reference/> in the componentType

Mike: Here is a proposal to add a new normative statement to section 2.1.1 - this would be immediately before [SBPEL2001]

[SBPEL2023] If a partner link element has an sca-bpel:ignore attribute with a value of "true", then the introspected component type for the WS-BPEL process MUST NOT contain a service or a reference element which relates to that partner link element, irrespective of any other aspects of that partner link.

Mike: But we may need to make this non normative in section 3.3:

[SBPEL3034] A <partnerlink/> element which has sca-bpel:ignore="true" MUST NOT be introspected as either an SCA service or as an SCA reference.

so that the normative statement is entirely in section 2.1.1

Anish:

Going back to section 2.1.1, we really need to make the new normative statement fit in with the style of the rest of the section

- that section is really a nested if

- and the form of the new statement

does not match what is there at the moment
