Subject: Re: [sca-j] SCA-J package names
As a point of order, according to the OASIS rules [1], appeals are done by members, not TCs as a whole. So I believe it is incorrect to state that the "SCA-J TC is willing to initiate a formal appeal if necessary". Clearly, the vote taken by the TC on a motion related to this issue cannot be seen as binding any TC members to participate in an eventual appeal.
