These statements give a problem both with regard to testing and to the exit criteria for the specification. The statements involved are as follows: Optional statements: POL40031 POL40033 POL80001 POL80002 Statements relating to optional function (in all cases, the function is redeployment, which is not a required capability for an SCA runtime) POL40029 POL40030 POL40032 Proposal: Remove the optional parts of POL80001 & POL80003 Downgrade all of the remaining listed statements to non-normative advisory text. The implementation of these proposals is shown in wd041 of the Policy spec here: http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/sca-policy/download.php/42854/sca-policy-1.1-spec-wd041.doc http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/sca-policy/download.php/42855/sca-policy-1.1-spec-wd041.pdf Yours, Mike Dr Mike Mail Point 137, (Embedded Edwards Hursley Park image moved to file: pic43485.gif) STSM Winchester, Hants SO21 2JN SCA & United Kingdom Services Standards Co-Chair OASIS SCA Assembly TC IBM Software Group Phone: +44-1962 818014 Mobile: +44-7802-467431 (274097) e-mail: mike_edwards@uk.ibm.com Unless stated otherwise above: IBM United Kingdom Limited - Registered in England and Wales with number 741598.
