I certainly support you on this Karl and believe that
there are issues that the SSJC could address that would
be of interest to any TC concerned with security. 

But I think we have a bit of work first in getting this
JC properly set up and in crafting a more detailed scope
and purpose. One item is clearly coordination among the
five security TCs. 

But I think that we should try to set up an SC within
the JC to serve the specific interests of the other OASIS
TCs, the ones who either use or rely on security in their
works. There are likely problems and solutions that can
be worked and shared.

I'll place this item on the agenda I'm creating for our 
first SSJC call. And before the call I would welcome some
discussion of this issue on our list.

First questions. Is there support for creating a Security
Users Subcommittee within the SSJC? Should membership in
the SSJC be open to all OASIS TCs? For myself, I'd say yes
to both.
