FSTC LIVE CHAT EVENT REMINDER

TOPIC: ON THE FRONT LINES WITH WEB SERVICES

TIME: THURSDAY, JUNE 27, 12:00-1:00 PM EDT

GUESTS:

Steve Holbrook, Program Director, Emerging e-Business Standards, IBM

Steve is responsible for IBM's involvement across the key standards
bodies dealing with Web services (W3C, OASIS, etc.). He works in
IBM's Software Group in the Emerging Technologies division--the group
that launched internal-, then industry-wide movements with Java, XML,
Open Source, and most recently, Web services. He joined IBM in
September 2000 as the technology evangelist for Web services,
traveling the world speaking about this new industry-wide movement,
before taking his current assignment with standards. Prior to
joining IBM, Steve worked at Novell for 15 years in leadership
positions dealing with APIs, SDKs and developer issues including
responsibilities for standards--serving as both Advisory Committee
representative and the OASIS representative.

Dan Gisolfi, Engagement Manager / Solutions Architect, IBM

As a member of the IBM's jStart (jump-Start) Emerging Technologies
Team, Dan keeps his hands dirty in both the business and technical
aspects of customer engagements. From business development manger
and evangelist to solution architect, he wears many hats. As jStart
Team Lead for Web Services, he is helping IBM drive the adoption of
this emerging technology through real business solutions. Prior to
his current assignment, Dan was involved in software and product
development for secure Internet payment systems.

Kevin Cronin, Web Services Solutions Leader, Niteo Partners (NEC)

Kevin is CTO and Web Services Solution Lead for Niteo Partners, a
NEC Solutions company. His areas of expertise include enterprise
architectures and financial services. Prior to Niteo, Kevin spent
11 years with Fidelity Investments where he was a Vice President of
Development in the Fidelity's equity trading area. Kevin was also
technical lead for Fidelity's information delivery system, which
delivered data to 12,000 desktops, VRUs, and other systems located
in branch offices, phone centers, and external customers.
