Subject: FW: Knowledge Problem smart grid series
Good background, away from the standards, but focused on the
goals… "A man should never be ashamed to own that he has been in
the wrong, which is but saying ... that he is wiser today than yesterday."
-- Jonathan Swift

[mailto:lynne@knowledgeproblem.com] Hi all, This week I'm writing a 5-part series of smart grid posts at
Knowledge Problem. So far parts 1 and 2 are up: In particular, I think today's post is very useful, because
a lot of our audience does not naturally think of the electric power network as
transactive, so this explanation may be useful. The topics of the remaining 3 will be -end-use devices -renewables interconnection -smart grid policy, state, regional, federal I hope you find these useful in communicating our messages
and vision to our various audiences. Please do be viral and send the links
along to anyone (and I mean anyone!) whom you think would enjoy it/benefit from
it. I know a couple of you are involved in today's Senate hearing, and this
series may be useful to the staffers there. And please do comment on them! They are also cross-posted at The Energy Collective, which
if you aren't aware of, I recommend to you: Thanks, Lynne ___ Lynne Kiesling Senior Lecturer Department of Economics & Kellogg School of Management Northwestern University faculty.econ.northwestern.edu/faculty/kiesling/ |
