Subject: joined the TC for...
Polaris Software caters almost exclusively to the financial services sector. We are in the process of evolving reference architectures ('RAs') for various lines of the banking business (retail, corporate, wealth management, credit cards...) with a view to mapping our services (GeneS, in Polaris Speak; SOBAs, to use the Gartner term) to the building blocks in such RAs. The idea is to have a jargon-neutral services picture of banking that we can use to converse with banks and other financial institutions. I joined the TC to get valuable inputs on constructing RAs in an industry standard way, and hopefully collaborate with someone who has a vested interest in RAs for the banking industry. Though a vendor, Polaris thinks that such RAs must not be vendor-specific at all. Makes sense? regards, Natarajan Dhandapany Product Manager - GeneS Polaris Architecture Group Polaris Software Lab Limited "Intellect Court" 34, IT Highway Navalur, Chennai - 603103 INDIA Tel: +91 44 27435001 Ext. 4665 Dir.: +91 4114 505043 Mobile: +91 98840 66550 www.polaris.co.in www.intellectsuite.com _________________________________________________________________ Businesses that ignore the potential of SOA will find themselves outpaced by rivals who improve their agility and transform themselves into new kinds of enterprises. - Gartner This e-Mail may contain proprietary and confidential information and is sent for the intended recipient(s) only.
