History: At 15 October 2008 Meeting Andy said he would try to complete the contribution of three documents right after that meeting. Planned contribution is Andy's Symposium Tutorial, an EERP White Paper, and a third document. 

Andy not present to report on status. To date no contributions have been made.

New Business
(a) How to work going forward in the absence of the contributed documents--discussion 

Bill: we want to start with contributed documents to avoid potential IPR and copyright issues.

Rex: any rules that pertain to paraphrasing the contributions? OASIS copyright related to presentations?  Should we have a document that paraphrases what was said?  Provides us with a basis for discussions. We need a base. 

Bill: I will commit to contributing my two documents in the next week.

ACTION BILL #4 Determine which of William Cox's documents to contribute to the TC and make the contributions. Due 3 November 2008.

Patrick G: let's at least begin by defining the terminology, major sets of information. Core piece of this is the business quality of service - what's the mechanism by which we can define and bound/describe QoS metrics. 

Patrick Yee: Agree we should have something to work on - we have to get started as soon as possible. Actually, I don't know if we continue to wait for Andy when we'll have something concrete to work on. Bill if you can contribute, that will trigger Andy to work faster. Gaps between yours and Andy's, we could recognize and perhaps harmonize.
