Event – a notable occurrence
Event dispatcher – dispatches or signals a notification or message about the event
Event object – the event itself (although this may be too prescriptive for an RA.  Same for event message)
Event handler – an entity that catches the event and might possibly do something with it.

Having said that, this is probably too implementation specific for an RA.  Thoughts?
