Subject: RE: [soa-rm] Random Thought: Capability-Oriented Architecture (COA)
Joe: I'm not sure I understand why or how this would add anything: SOA is about *leveraging* capabilities in a particular way; what is the difference between COA and software architecture generally? Surely (hopefully) all software is about providing a capability. If it isn't oriented to that goal, heaven only knows what it is doing...! A capability could be comprised of one or more services. This could be a term that implies thinking even broader than services when architecting solutions.
