Michael,
William was sidetracked and in a separate email said he plans to have some examples for the next meeting.
As for technology *and* business, I think we attempted to have the SOA-RAF at this intersection. I will not claim perfection and we may expand in certain areas with the ontology work. I expect our sweet spot will be for business to be able to apply aspects of SOA in a more structured, well thought out way.
We can discuss further.

I do plan to participate.
I've expected some inputs from William for the passed two weeks regarding the direction of the content, but received nothing.
I believe that if we fully focus in informtation technology in SO Ecosystem ontology, this will be like 'one step forward, two steps back'. Also, since we would like to construct a SO Ecosystem ontology rather than an ontology of SOA RAF document, we have to have an idea or a message the ontology carries to the readers. I believe it should be a 'coverage' of business _and_ technology, where the 'business' part is a must have from the beginning.
Currently I am involved in a working group with another standard where we work on the Guidance for Business Architecture. I have placed aforementioned concept of SO in Business and it seems my peers have accepted and even excited about it ( they all business architects not from IT ) and we target CxOs other than CIO/CTO.

During the 4 February call, William Sweet proposed a basis for moving forward on our ontology effort and took an action to provide some examples to demonstrate the approach. William will not be ready for this meeting to present that work but, given a number of people missed the last meeting, it may be a good opportunity for William to bring others up to speed. So I am canvassing to see who are likely attendees at tomorrow’s meeting. If we have a critical mass, I’ll set up and distribute call-in information. If we do not look to have critical mass and if there are not other topics to discuss, I would likely cancel the meeting.
Having come out of the holiday season, I look forward to building momentum around the work. Please get back to me and we’ll see if tomorrow can be a step in that direction.
