Subject: Three (3) Transformational Government Framework (TGF) Committee Notes published: Tools and Models for the Business Management Framework, e-Health Profile, and Executive Summary

OASIS Members,

OASIS is pleased to announce the approval and publication of three (3) new Committee Notes by the members of the OASIS Transformational Government Framework TC:

Transformational Government Framework (TGF) Tools and Models for the Business Management Framework: Volume 1 Using the Policy Product Matrix Version 2.0
Committee Note 01
16 June 2014

This Committee Note and the associated Wiki resource contain detailed information and guidance on using the Policy Products matrix in the Business Management Framework, as identified in the Transformational Government Framework (TGF) Version 2.0.

TGF Executive Summary Version 1.0
Committee Note 01
16 June 2014

This Executive Summary provides a high-level overview of the TGF.  It is intended to be an easy-to-read summary of the rationale and main points of the TGF and to assist senior managers and implementers in gaining a quick understanding of the areas that need their attention when considering the implementation of a TGF conformant program.

Transformational Government Framework e-Health Profile Version 1.0
Committee Note 01
19 June 2014

This Committee Note contains detailed information and guidance on using the TGF and other OASIS standards to support the work of the delivery of e-Health services provided in the home or in the community. It identifies in particular which of the Core Patterns and Policy Products are relevant and where necessary elaborates them more specifically to the e-Health domain.

About the TC:
The Transformational Government Framework TC is advancing an overall framework for using information technology to improve the delivery of public services. Unlike traditional e-Government strategies of the past, Transformational Government begins with citizen engagement to assure greater use and return on investment. The work of the TC includes defining the framework, identifying use cases, and providing adoption guidance for governments around the world, regardless of their history in implementing e-Government.
