[xtm-wg] XTM-UCS: ANNOUNCEMENT

Hello,

A Use Cases Subgroup was formed during the XTM meeting in Montreal.

The mission for this subgroup is:

     Identify representative use cases of XTM,
     Derive requirements,
     Evaluate XTM against those requirements.

(The exact wording will be found in the minutes from the XTM meeting.
 
 The above is from my notes.)

The initial participating members in this subgroup are:

    "Patrick Durusan" <pdurusau@emory.edu>
    "Paul Conn" <pconn@idealliance.org>

No official chair was declared for the subgroup.  Bryan Thompson will 
coordinate the efforts of the subgroup through its first deliverable, 
which is due Sept. 3rd.  This deliverable will characterize the 
primary outputs of the XTM-UCS subgroup, which are:

   (1) Use cases of XTM.
   (2) Additional requirements for XTM, derived from the use cases.
   (3) Prose and examples for the XTM specification.

All email messages pertaining to this subgroup should be prefixed
with 
"XTM-UCS: ".  Anyone XTM member who wishes to participate in this 
subgroup should contact "Bryan Thompson" <bryan@cog-tech.com>.
