I'm afraid I'm a strict constructionist with regard to the minutes. If we start discussing "intent", I fear we will never end. Of course, I proposed the motion at issue, so I am probably as equipped to close this can of worms as anyone; therefore, I was clear that it was Participating Members that I meant, and not Invited Guests. > The problem is that we are friendly people I am not so friendly that I would have difficulty moving against any or all invited guests, should I feel (or you, Murray, express to me your feeling) that the meeting was becoming bogged down by their presence, or if there were simply too many of them. (What a nice problem for a bunch of "old school" SGMLers to have, eh?) The principle at issue (I think we are agreed) is that the work must be done quickly; if invited guests speed this, well and good; if they don't, we'll un- or dis-invite them. S. P.S. It might be a good idea to put clarifying the procedure for inviting guests on the agenda for Swindon. ===== <?
