Swindon Minutes Module #3: XTM Repository

| This is a hunk of the draft minutes of the October 13-15, 2000
| meeting of the XTM Authoring Group in Swindon, England.

| Those who were present at the meeting are invited to suggest changes
| for the sake of recording the intent of the meeting more accurately.

  XTM AUTHORING GROUP'S PUBLIC DOCUMENT REPOSITORY WILL MOVE SOON

    Egroups.com's repository service is unsatisfactory to several
    Participating Members, and downright obnoxious to several others.
    All XTM documents now hosted at egroups.com will be laboriously
    downloaded, one by one (because egroups.com doesn't allow this to
    be done any other way than by wasting an unconscionable amount of
    the user's time) by selfless volunteer Ann Wrightson, who will
    send them to Murray Altheim, who will host them temporarily at his
    personal website, http://www.doctypes.org.  Murray will inform
    everyone through the usual channels when this has been done, and
    egroups.com will no longer, thereafter, be used as the repository.
    All documents will remain publicly accessible, of course.  Persons
    who upload documents will need to inform the mailing list of that
    fact manually, since the notice will no longer be sent
    automatically.
