P.S. For what it's worth, I think the downward pointing vertical arrows
are crying out to be a vertically-oriented VCR buttons, with v's
signifying arrows in increasing order of potency
v next heading
vv next sibling of heading parent
vvv the end of the document
with parallel functionality for up arrows. I know, more work!
