Subject: RE: [xtm-wg] [XTM-ISS] new XTM prototype DTD
ditto, why do I need baseNames on my occurrences? they should be linked to the relevant topic name by scope, no? While the <mergemap> element was a bit rushed, the rest of the DTD represents the fair consensus of opinion reached during *many* hours of teleconference deliberations last week between Steve Newcomb, Michel Biezunski, Sam Hunting and myself. I know the four of us are extremely proud of this accomplishment heading into Dallas. We all learned a great deal during these discussions, and I feel I actually understand this stuff (!) for the first time. We hope to make some minor tweaks to the comments and <mergemap> elements and attributes prior to the meeting, so if there's a weak point it's there.
