Subject: Re: [xtm-wg] Re : Comments on XTM Spec 1.0
Hi Bernard, You Vatant wrote: > Hans wrote : > > "A couple of people - and I am one of them - stated that association should > have a name (<baseName>) and occurrences > (<occurrence>) as child elements." You "sniped" away the important part of my posting: "... The answer to that request was: reification. This is an appropriate solution but it is nowhere described in the XTM spec. There is http://www.doctypes.org/xtm/syntax/reification-syntax.html but *the* solution is not marked in the document. => Please add information about reification to the spec with an example that shows how names and occurrences can be "assigned" to associations." I am aware of the solutions you described in your reply but I was looking for the - nailed down - technical solution (both in the processing model and in the syntax, means DTD). This is completely missing in the specs - at least I have not found something - but it has to be there to answer these very important issues. Cheers and have a nive weekend, --Holger -- H.
