It is already there:
<occurrence>
    <instanceOf><topicRef xlink:href="#second-class-name"/></instanceOf>
    <resourceData>Hamlet</resourceData>
</occurrence>

Note that originally names were just
special types of occurrences,
a symmetry that was broken by introducing
<variant> children for <baseName> element only.
