I know, I know. :)  It's just that the frustration over this keeps
coming back as I hit new problems with it.

| With products I can probably work around it by using the vendor as
| scope, but it doesn't seem right to do so.

Do you believe that the vendor topic accurately represents the extent
of the validity of the name of a product?
