I've just recently resumed my post as webmaster of topicmaps.org, and I've updated these three topic maps and posted their updates on the site. If you should find any further problems with these topic maps, please let me know. I will be posting a message regarding country.xtm and language.xtm under a different thread. > 2) In > > http://www.topicmaps.org/xtm/1.0/#elt-baseName > > there is an example referring to #en only although > > http://www.topicmaps.org/xtm/1.0/language.xtm#en > > is probably intended. There is one more instances with #da, > but maybe also others. Yes, you are correct regarding this error. The full PSI should be used in this case (and IMO, this type of confusion is something one has to watch carefully for). The editors of the XTM 1.0 specification are on this mailing list, and I'm assuming they will fix this problem. I'll leave these types of fixes to the document editors rather than tread on their turf. > 3) On the page > > http://www.topicmaps.org/xtm/index.html > > the reference to the XTM document still points to the 4.12.2000 > version: > > [XTM] > XTM: XML Topic Maps (XTM) 1.0: TopicMaps.Org AG Review > Specification, > TopicMaps.Org XTM Authoring Group, 4 Dec 2000. > See: http://www.topicmaps.org/xtm/1.0/xtm1-20001204.html > Latest version: http://www.topicmaps.org/xtm/1.0/ > > 4) On the same page > > http://www.topicmaps.org/xtm/index.html > > the distribution is not up-to-date. [ I found it very convenient > because one could bundle it with packages. ] I didn't quite catch what you meant here; is the web page itself useful for "bundling with packages?" If so, yes, that is the intention. Now that I'm back as webmaster I'll fix this ASAP, probably after I return home from Austin (i.e., in a day or so).
