Subject: [xtm-wg] "Oh puh-leeze!"

I shouldn't even get involved in this, since I have real work to do,
but it strikes me that my response of "Oh puh-leeeze!"[1] on this
thread may have been overly terse, even by my standards.

I think it's simply a time management thing. It seems weird that,
having explained himself to Lars, he should then have to explain
himself all over again to Lars's boss.

See above comment on time management.

Leaving aside the begged question of "fully compliant" (with what?) I
sympathize with Lars's need for clarification -- but as Murray has
indicated over and over again, such clarification will not (and should
not) come be forthcoming until the organizational issues in the XTM
world get solved, hopefully in Montreal with the transfer to Oasis.

(1) "Due note"? Steve, it sounds like you think you are Murray's
supervisor! Or if you're putting him on some kind of enemies list!
Surely you don't mean to say that?

(2) "At this time" means before Oasis in Montreal. That's not very far
away. Murray's arguments for working only within a process seem quite
cogent to me, and also serve the needs of the community. There is no
point restating them (yet again).

[1] Note to European readers: exagerrated pronunciation of "oh please",
meant to be acompanied rolling eyes.
