What they say is that they offer a *solution*:
"Web-enabled transactions in a patent-pending XML/XTM environment
using proprietary and licensed applications."
The wording is ambiguous, it may be understood that:
a) XML/XTM environment is patent-pending, or
b) solution for transactions is patent-pending.
If I read them right, it's just a clumsy phrase. They can't be serious
about patenting XTM. But - I'm not a lawyer ...
As for patenting a solution, Ontopia, for ex., or any other company
sells XTM solutions that may be patented (are they?)
