I found that if you change the file extension from .zip to .hqx, the latest 
winzip will open it. I don't know how that will play out with other 
platforms. If needed, I can zip the bin and src up and post it at my web site.

In any case, the demo is way cool!  It uses TouchGraph and comes with a 
pretty thorough sample topic map.
