TOSCA INTEROP DEMO information packet

Participation Form (required):
OASIS Interops are public demonstrations that showcase multi-vendor implementations of approved OASIS work.  These are official Consortium activities, endorsed by one or more OASIS Technical Committees, and mutually supported by OASIS staff and the InterOp participants.  OASIS members participating in the InterOp must complete the official InterOp participant form by the deadline.  Submission deadline is 15 September.  Form is attached.

Demonstration Set-up & Schedule:
A room at the venue has been reserved for the InterOp (room F35).  This room is located next to the ICS conference room, and is available from 8:00-18:00.  The group will need to firm up their preferred room layout by 27 September.  In addition to confirming the room set-up, the demo format and schedule will need to be worked out.  The group is welcome to remain in the room all day (providing demos upon request) or may want to consider holding demos during a few designated times throughout the day.  Both the room set-up and demo schedule items will be added to the next InterOp call.  Please feel free to provide your input.

Tuesday, 15 October

8:00 - Set-up begins

 

8:30 - Registration

 

9:00 (to 11:00) - ICS program begins with session block one, including the TOSCA presentation & demo announcement


11:00 - Refreshment break

 

11:15 (to 12:15) - ICS program – session block two

 

12:15 (to 13:15) - Lunch

 

13:15 (to 14:15) – ICS special plenary

 

14:15 – Refreshment break & special VIP demo (for European Commission and NIST guests)

 

14:30 (to 15:30) – ICS program – session block three

 

15:30 – Refreshment break

 

15:45 (to 16:45) – ICS program – session block four

 

16:45 (to 17:30) – ICS closing session

 

17:30 (to 18:00) – Tear down demo

 

18:30 – OASIS20 Reception & maybe if we can work it out & the group agrees provide some TOSCA demonstrations during the reception

 

Company Signage
OASIS will provide all demo signage in order to ensure fairness and consistency.  All signage will be forwarded to the group for approval by 27 September.  I do have many company logos already, but may need to contact a few for high-resolution logos over the next few weeks.  In the meantime, please feel free to contact me directly with any questions regarding signage.

 

AV Equipment & Technical Requests
Participating companies will be responsible for bringing their own company equipment for the demonstration to the event.  The group did mention that a large monitor (about 32”) will be needed to display information on the InterOp. OASIS will take care of this order.  All AV orders will need to be finalized by 27 September.  Also, wireless internet connectivity will be available in the room throughout the day. 

 

Registration Information
Each participating company is entitled to receive one “Full Conference Registration” for the ICS/EuroCloud Congress events. This package does include access to the EuroCloud Dinner Gala.  Please forward the name of the individual (including all contact details) to me by 20 September.  If additional registrations are needed – our special discount would apply (please use our codes).  This special rate is 75 Euros for the ICS/EuroCloud Congress program or 150 Euros for the ICS/EuroCloud Congress program & EuroCloud dinner gala.

Hotel & Transportation Information
