Subject: Groups - SBS invoice validation with 3 code list approaches (ubl-1.0-with-2.0-code-list.zip) uploaded

An example of the different validation options for UBL 2.0. Note that the
Schematron schema has an unresolved issue that Ken and I need to discuss.

 -- Mr. Anthony Coates*

The document named SBS invoice validation with 3 code list approaches
(ubl-1.0-with-2.0-code-list.zip) has been submitted by Mr. Anthony Coates*
to the OASIS Universal Business Language (UBL) TC document repository.

Document Description:
This ZIP file has an SBS invoice that is validated using 3 approaches.
Approach #1 is just the UBL 1.0 Schemas (see 'Invoice_valid.xml' and
'Invoice_invalid.xml'). Approach #2 uses a UBL 2.0 code list Schema with
embedded enumeration values ('Invoice-currency-2.0-validated_valid.xml' and
'Invoice-currency-2.0-validated_invalid.xml'). Approach #2 gives the same
result as approach #1, as you would expect.

Approach #3 uses a UBL 2.0 code list Schema with *no* enumeration values,
but provides an auxilliary Schematron schema that can be used to check code
list values in a secondary validation phase
('Invoice-currency-2.0-unvalidated_valid.xml' and
'Invoice-currency-2.0-unvalidated_invalid.xml'). However, the Schematron
schema doesn't quite work yet, so I need some help (Ken??) on how to get
this right.

Note that approach #2 is equivalent to someone taken the approach #3
currency code list Schema and adding their own code list values into it.
