Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] (UBL-2) Documents for party information exchange
[ https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/UBL-2?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=63211#comment-63211 ] Roberto Cisternino commented on UBL-2: -------------------------------------- Hello Kees, I do not see overlapping at this stage, can you make an example ? I note anyway that some of this information could be added to the Party direclty. BusinessCard has in my view at least three aspects: - a plain business card (this is enriched with social addresses, corporate web sites, ...) - a way to exchange business party info between business registries (This is also the role of the BusinessDirectory message) - an advanced business card suitable to send/publish our EDI capabilities to our possible EDI partners. Content of BusinessCard is still a draft, so I would appreciate a feedback on this to see where we can better accomodate this data. For the following external URIs like websites and social addresses I am tempted to use the existing ExternalReferenceType that provides the benefit to let us better express the URI we want show on the business card: So I would rename these: - cbc:CorporateBrochureURI (0..1) - cbc:CorporateWebsiteURI (0..1) An institutional or corporate image website URI - cbc:OperationalWebsiteURI (0..1) An operational website URI - cbc:SocialNetworkURI (0..n) One or more presences on social networks Into: - cbc:CorporateBrochureReference (0..1) ---> This is a DocumentReference - cbc:CorporateWebsiteReference (0..1) ---> This is an ExternalReference - cbc:OperationalWebsiteReference (0..1) ---> This is an ExternalReference - cbc:SocialNetworkReference (0..n) ---> This is an ExternalReference > Documents for party information exchange > ---------------------------------------- > > Key: UBL-2 > URL: https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/UBL-2 > Project: OASIS Universal Business Language (UBL) TC > Issue Type: New Feature > Components: Documents and business objects > Reporter: Ken Holman > Assignee: Roberto Cisternino > Priority: Minor > -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.2.2#6258)
