Hi,

In countries (e.g. Belgium, Switzerland, Canada, Luxembourg Â) where multiple languages are commonly used for official publications, it may be necessary to differentiate them and their legal values (some may be legally mandated and considered as authentic while others may not).

Multiple discussions lead, as reported in the PA SC minutes shared on May 8th, to the following proposal: 
- Have an optional repeatable ABIE ÂAdditionalLanguage at the root element, 
with two children:
- a mandatory non-repeatable code ÂLanguageCodeÂ, and
- a mandatory non-repeatable indicator ÂOfficialIndicatorÂ
