Subject: RE: [uddi-spec] ebXML Registry / UDDI Convergence
Matthew, Personally, I would appreciate a convergence. However, it is unlikely that we can change UDDI's basic characteristics in terms of its data structures, APIs, intra- and inter-registry communication and security model. What about putting this item on the agenda for our next conference call in order to find out how many TC members would be willing to spend some time on investigating the amount of overlap and possible convergence paths? What would be the best way to do this? Should it be done?
